What Is Iron-Deficiency Anemia?

When red blood cells are studied under a microscope and the results shows that they are abnormally pale and small. It tends to be the result of iron-deficiency anemia.

Taking 100 mg – 500 mg of vitamin C supplement along side you iron supplements will help you to absorb the non-haem iron better.

In the case of iron supplements, do not take iron supplements if you have not been diagnose as suffering from iron deficiency.
