The Facts About Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a powerful protective antioxidant and is needed for normal reproduction; this is why it is also known as the ‘antisterility factor’.
There are eight natural forms of vitamin E that are found in our food which alpha-tocopherol is the most active form.
Food sources of vitamin E are:

Can Vitamin E Be An Alzheimer’s Cure?
Studies have shown that people who regularly consume the anti-oxidant supplements vitamin C and vitamin E lowered the risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease.
Other research showed that the brain functioning of older adults was better with high blood levels of vitamin E.
This research indicated that anti-oxidants such as vitamin E can help to protect against the possibility of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
Clinical trials have shown that large doses of vitamin E (over 2,000 IU per day) may be able to slow down the development of dementia.
How Much Vitamin To Take To Help With Alzheimer’s ?
In clinical trials it has been shown that high doses of vitamin E of over 2000 IU per day can help to slow down the development of dementia.
Note: Care needs to be taken with vitamin E; very high doses of over 3000 mg per day can be toxic.
