Oily Fish And Arthritic Vegans
8 March 2007 – 12:15 pm
Today I received an email from Mark who after reading my free e-book ”How To Beat Arthritis Naturally”, wanted to know if there was an alternative to consuming oily fish for vegans.
Oily fish are good for arthritis because they contain essential fatty acids, EFA’s for short.
EFA’s have strong anti-inflammatory properties which is great for arthritis.
The good news for Mark and other vegans is that EFA’s can also be found in the following:
- Almonds
- Corn
- Evening Primrose Oil
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Flax Oil
- Green Leafy Vegetables
- Linseed Oil
- Pumpkin Seeds
- Rapeseed Oil
- Safflower Oil
- Sesame Seeds
- Soybeans
- Sunflower Seeds
- Walnuts
- Whole Grains
