Well, quercetin is a flavonoid… a flavonoid is a water-soluble plant pigment.
Quercetin is present in:
- Apples
- Black Tea
- Green Tea
- Onions
How Can Quercetin Help With Your Prostatitis?
Quercetin has strong anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
It is believed that quercetin can reduce the symptoms associated with prostatitis.
In fact, this has been confirmed in double-blind trials which reported that quercetin can improve the symptoms of prostatitis by between 59% and 67%.
What Dose Do You Need To Reduce Your Prostatitis Symptoms?
In the previously mentioned trials, the dose was 500 mg of quercetin twice per day for one month.
Most doctors would recommend you took between 200 mg and 500 mg, two or three times per day.
Are There Ant Side Effects Of Taking Quercetin?
Quercetin is generally safe to take, as far as I am aware, there haven’t been any reports of quercetin causing any ill health.
