I grew up in Philadelphia, attended medical school at Temple University, and completed my training in North Carolina and South Florida. My more than 20 years of experience have provided me with a deep understanding of all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology. I completed a rigorous internship at University of North Carolina Hospitals and further specialized with a fellowship at University South Florida, gaining invaluable experience and expertise. I'm Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. My ultimate goal is to help patients understand and manage their digestive health conditions. The most satisfying part of my day is building a strong rapport with patients, listening to their concerns, and developing personalized treatment plans that empower them to take control of their health journey.
My practice philosophy centers on active listening and collaboration. I believe in understanding patients' unique perspectives and working together to design effective solutions. Respecting patients' choices and desires is paramount, and my role is to provide guidance, education, and support to help them navigate their health journey. I'm committed to empathy and compassion in all my interactions, because there's nothing more important than helping patients feel better and regain their well-being.
