With over 35 years of dedicated experience in Cardiovascular care, Dr. Ashchi brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and compassionate care to his patients and their families. A graduate of The College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova-Southeastern University of The Health Sciences, and The University of South Florida, he was recruited to The prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation for his Internal Medicine residency. He then undertook his Cardiology Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University program at MetroHealth/Mount Sinai Medical Centers in Cleveland, Ohio. He then advanced to The University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital where he underwent a year of dedicated training in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Ashchi's extensive experience encompasses numerous courses in the Endovascular treatment of peripheral vascular disease, making him a pioneer in the First Coast region, particularly in the evolving field of carotid artery stenting. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a strong commitment to quality care, evidenced by his selection as the primary investigator in the CAPTURE, SAPPHIRE and EXACT trials. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1989 and completed an internship at Human Hospital - South Broward. He is dedicated to putting patients first and always strives for excellence in his care. Dr. Majdi Ashchi offers consultations in several languages, including Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian.
