She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College Of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015 and completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Largo Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident and being recognized as Resident of the Year in Pinellas County. This was followed by a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at Largo Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow. She is dual board certified in Internal Medicine (DO/MD) and in Gastroenterology (DO/MD) by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bournique, originally from Naperville, IL, and raised in Naples, FL, graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
