Dr. Goodman is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a founding member of the UM Stem Cell Transplant Team. During the program's formative years, he served as the acting Medical Director, reflecting his deep commitment to transplant and cellular therapies, including CAR T cells for multiple myeloma and lymphoma. With over 35 years of dedicated experience in Hemato-oncologic care, he brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and compassionate care to his patients and their families. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 1986, followed by residency training in Hematology-Oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Jackson Health, specializing in the comprehensive medical care of all ages. He is Board Certified in Hematology, Internal Medicine, and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Goodman's approach to care is rooted in evidence-based medicine, emphasizing patient education, collaborative decision-making, and providing a supportive, reassuring environment for his patients.
