Dr. Gowda is Board Certified, fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology at SUNY, Brooklyn, NY, and holds certifications in Endovascular Medicine, Vascular Medicine, Cardiovascular CT, and Nuclear Cardiology. A graduate of Karmatak Medical College, India, he earned his medical degree in 1990 from Karnatak University. After serving on the medical faculty and gaining foundational clinical experience at Staten Island University Hospital, he completed a Cardiology residency, specializing in the comprehensive medical care of all ages. He then pursued fellowship training in State University Of New York, deepening his expertise in Interventional Cardiology. With over 30 years of dedicated experience in Cardiovascular care, he brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and compassionate care to his patients and their families. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He joined Bay Area Cardiology Associates in 2009, after prior roles at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Dr. Gowda is fluent in Hindi and also offers consultations in Spanish, aligning with our mission at Bay Area Cardiology Associates, PA, to provide Compassionate Quality Care to all patients using state-of-the-art comprehensive cardiology techniques and medicine.
